FABULOUS Field trip to Frank Gehry’s Disney Concert Hall, MOCA, a stop by Houdon’s George Washington sculpture in Grand Central Park, a “dip” into the Metro to check out mosaics after Faith Ringgold painting, and the onto the Norton Simon Museum.

UGH! So maybe we have been a little busy… We are now on the last –Unit 9: Art/Architecture of the 20th & 21st Century. This means it’s a great time to share some of my faves (bias!):

ARGENTINA Patagonia Cueva de las Manos Cave of the Hands.  Prehistoric rock paintings of human hands in red black and orange 13 000 to 9 500 years old.
